يسلط هذا البحث الضوء على علاقة الكامل محمد والمعظم عيسى في الفترة من 615ه/1218م وحتى عام 624هـ/1227م، وهي العلاقة التي مرَّت بمرحلتين: مرحلة الوفاق والائتلاف والتصافي، ومرحلة الاختلاف والصراع والتنازع. ويوضح البحث أسباب الاختلاف بين الأخوين الكامل محمد والمعظم عيسى، ونتائج هذا الاختلاف. وسوف نتناول -في هذا البحث-: التمهيد: ونُعرِّف فيه بصورةٍ موجزةٍ بشخصيتي الكامل والمعظم، وبعد ذلك نتطرَّق إلى مرحلة الوفاق بين الأخوين، ثم نتناول مرحلة الاختلاف وأسباب الخلاف بينهما ونتائج هذا الخلاف، فهذا الصراع له تأثيرٌ بارزٌ لا يشمل الدولة الأيوبية فقط، لكن يمسُّ هذا الصراع -بنتائجه- العالم الإسلامي كافة، وسنتناول أيضًا دور الخليفة العباسي والملك الأشرف موسى في هذا الصراع.

This research highlights the relationship of Al-Kamil Mohammed and Al-Mu'azzam Isa in the period between 615 Hijri / 1218 AD until 624 Hijri / 1227 AD. The relationship passed through two stages, the stage of reconciliation, coalition and sincerity, and the stage of difference, conflict and dispute. The research also explains the reasons for the difference between the two brothers Al-Kamil Mohammed and Al-Mu'azzam Isa, and the results of this difference. We will address in this research the introduction and know in a brief the personalities of Al-Kamil and Al-Mu'azzam, and then address the stage of reconciliation between the two brothers, and then address the stage of difference and the reasons for the disagreement between them and the results of this dispute. This conflict has a prominent impact does not include the Ayyubid state only, but affects this conflict results all the Islamic world, we will also address the role of the Abbasid Caliph and King Ashraf Musa in this conflict.
